Alba Argerich, PhD is an aquatic scientist exploring the effects of land use on water quality and ecosystem integrities.  She uses experimental and modeling approaches in her research on different techniques to restore water quality in nutrient-loaded streams, to examine trends of aquatic nutrients in streams, and to assess the effects of current forestry practices on water quality.
