An internship in regenerative agriculture was established in 2025 in memory of Judy Grundler.
She was a strong advocate of sustainable and regenerative approaches in agriculture, starting with her early career in entomology research and extension at University of Missouri and continuing through her many years of service with the Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA). At MDA, she rose through various administrative positions, culminating in a senior administrative position as Director of Plant Industries for the department. She was widely known in the agriculture industry in Missouri and received multiple recognitions for her work, including being selected for the Cotton Growers Hall of Fame. Judy was known for her enthusiasm for her agriculture, her intellectual curiosity, her kind nature towards colleagues and friends, and her hard work to help Missouri farmers sustain their operations. She was also an animal lover and particularly enjoyed time with her horses, one of which she is pictured with here. She passed away in 2024.
