Potential for growth in the U.S. cover crop seed industry

As interest in cover crops increases, so have the opportunities for adoption funding and research. However, it’s largely unknown how and if the cover crop seed industry can support this growth. In this report, seed industry processionals were surveyed about their views of the current market and its future opportunities and challenges. Overall, growth projections over the next five years seem optimistic, but shifting government policy, weather impacts and data availability remain challenging for producers and industry professionals.
