We are excited to share the Certificate of Completion for Fundamentals of Cover Crops course offered through MU Extension. The purpose of this certificate course is to better equip farmers, farm advisors, conservation professionals, and others interested in the fundamental concepts related to using cover crops. There is no other single agronomic tool that offers as many on-farm benefits as cover crops. 11 training modules will provide knowledge on cover crop selection, management, economics, and related topics. 5.5 Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education credits are available.

I have really enjoyed this class. I think this class should be more advertised so farmers in my area (northwest Kansas) could take it. I think there is a lot of myths and/or misconceptions about cover crops. I think farmers that want to learn should take this class. … Thanks again for offering this class.
