Sarah Lovell, PhD is the H.E. Garett Endowed Chair Professor in the School of Natural Resources and is the Director of the Center for Agroforestry at Mizzou.  Her work examines the environmental and social advantages of using agroforestry practices like integrating productive woody trees and shrubs into agricultural systems. She also conducts applied research to explore the benefits and best practices -including use of plant diversification and pollination services- for urban agriculture.
