Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) – USDA, NRCS
Topics: Farmers, Landowners, Farm Advisors,
USDA’s Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) helps farmers and landowners implement conservation practices to improve your operation and address natural resources concerns through a comprehensive (whole-farm) approach. CSP contracts are set by state. Here is a list of Missouri CSP practices and estimates payments.
To get started with CSP, contact your local USDA service center (find yours on this map). An NRCS conservation specialist will come visit your farm to conduct a resource inventory of your agricultural land and help you create a custum plan for your farm. There is no minimum acres needed to enroll in CSP, but the plan must encompass your entire operation.
